Moline, IL : 2 fatal accidents in Henry County on April, Saturday 8th 2017

A Rock Island man died after a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in Orion on Saturday.

Tim Ergle, 46, of Rock Island, was traveling with a group of motorcyclists along 1350th Avenue in Orion. The accident took place Saturday at 2:30 p.m., according to the Henry County Sheriff's Department.

A department officer could not provide details about the accident, other than it happened at East 600th Street, and Mr. Ergle was transported by Genesis Ambulance. He was taken to Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, where he died from his injuries, Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustafson said Sunday. He didn't know if Mr. Ergle was wearing a helmet.

The sheriff's department is investigating the cause of that accident, as well as a fatal single-vehicle accident in Kewanee early Sunday morning. The department did not have any other information regarding that fatality.
