HARVEY COUNTY, KS : 2 injured, 1 critically in crash south of Newton on I-135 on Friday, 25th October 2024

Two people suffered injuries, one critically in a three-vehicle crash reported a little before 5 p.m. Friday in the northbound lanes of Interstate 135, just south of Newton near mile marker 25.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes but also impacted southbound traffic, causing traffic to stall in at least one lane. As of 6:15 p.m., traffic was still backed up as crews worked to clear the scene.
