Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash Monday morning on President Street in Savannah.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. on President Street at Pennsylvania Avenue. Witnesses say the driver of a truck hit a car, causing it to overturn. The truck ended up in a ditch.
Officials say both drivers were transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say after the crash, another driver was trying to see what was going on and ended up side-swiping a police car at the scene.
The wreck blocked one of the eastbound lanes of President Street for a couple of hours but the lane has since reopened to traffic.
Savannah-Chatham Metro's Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating to try and determine who was at fault.
