Lake County, FL : One person died in a single-vehicle crash involving a tree in Lake County on Tuesday, June 21, 2016

One person has died as a result of a single-vehicle crash involving a tree in Lake County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

One person was confirmed dead at the scene.

The crash occurred on Villa City Road and Sunrise Ridge Boulevard just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, officials said.

Troopers are investigating the crash.
