Dixon, IL : One hurt in rural Dixon crash near the intersection of state Route 2 and River Lane on Tuesday, 10th December, 2019

A Rock Falls woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of state Route 2 and River Lane, just west of Dixon. Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded at 1:30 p.m.. They found a Toyota Corolla driven by Stephanie Faley, 28, of Dixon, was southbound on River Lane when her vehicle entered the intersection with Route 2 and collided with a Buick Park Avenue driven by Vanessa Hernandez, 18, of Rock Falls. Hernandez was taken to KSB Hospital in Dixon with non-life-threatening injuries, and her condition was unavailable Tuesday. Faley was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
