LEBANON, WI : Watertown man injured in crash on Tuesday, 4th October 2016
A 27-year-old Watertown man was flown via Flight For Life to Aurora Medical Center in Summit this morning after his vehicle rolled down a steep ditch and landed upside down in the school yard of Lebanon Lutheran School.
Dodge County deputies arrived on the scene around 6:25 a.m. According to Dodge County Sheriff's Department Capt. Trace Frost, the man, who was the only one in the vehicle, failed to negotiate a turn near the intersection of County Highway R and Morningside Road. Frost said both alcohol and speed are believed to be factor in the crash.
Although the man was flown to the hospital, his injuries are believed to be nonlife-threatening.
The Morningside Road curve was a factor in another serious accident in November of 2015 when two Watertown men were ejected from a pick-up truck, killing one and seriously injuring another.
