FEDERAL WAY, WA : Rollover crash sends woman to hospital on April, Sunday 16th 2017
A dramatic three-car crash blocked state Route 18 for more than four hours early Sunday morning.
The crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. and injured a 57-year-old woman, Washington State Patrol says.
Troopers say all three cars were driving westbound on state Route 18 approaching Weyerhaeuser Way South when a black Ford Fiesta swerved and crashed into a blue Nissan Xterra.
Both cars flipped over and hit a third car, a Subaru Forester, WSP says.
The Ford rolled and came to a rest on its roof. The Nissan slid and came to a rest on its side. Both cars were destroyed, WSP says.
A 57-year-old woman driving the Nissan was transported to Valley Medical Center.
The two other drivers, a 27-year-old man and a 36-year-old man, were not injured. The 27-year-old man was booked into the King County Jail.
Troopers say the cause of the crash is under investigation.
