BULLHEAD CITY, AZ : Search continues for two involved in wreck on Monday, February 20th 2017

Bullhead City Police are still searching for the driver and passenger who fled the scene of a violent collision Monday afternoon.
According to the Bullhead City Police Department, the driver of a 1998 Ford Contour and a passenger left on foot after their vehicle crashed into a 2007 Jeep Compass around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Stahlman and Langford drives.
Initial reports from scene re-creation and witnesses indicate that the Contour was westbound on Stahlman between Lakeside Drive and Langford Drive when it ran the stop sign at Langford and crashed into the front right section of the Compass, which was northbound on Langford. The impact caused the Compass to roll several times with both vehicles ending up in the front yard of a residence in the 800 block of Stahlman.
The woman driving the Compass was taken by ambulance to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, where she was treated and released Monday night.
The occupants of the Contour were seen running west on Stahlman, then cutting through a vacant lot to the south. Police searched the area throughout the evening Monday but did not locate either the driver or the passenger; both likely were injured in the collision — the windshield of the Contour was broken out from apparent contact inside the car.
Witnesses said one of the men was limping and the other appeared to be bleeding from an injury.
Witnesses described one of the men as being about 5-foot-9 and weighing 145 pounds, wearing black shoes, a black shirt and gray shorts. The other man was said to be wearing a blue shirt and black shorts at the time of the crash.
The Contour was taken to the police impound yard to be held for evidence.
Anyone with information on the accident or the occupants of the Contour is asked to contact the Bullhead City Police Department at 928-763-9200.
