Grainger County ,TN : Pedestrian hit and killed in Crash after hit by Vehicle in Grainger County on Sunday afternoon , January 18th2015
A Bulls Gap man died after being hit by a vehicle Sunday afternoon in Grainger County, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The report prepared by Sgt. Robert Greer said the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday on State Highway 375 in Bean Station.
According to the report, Shea Collins ran from a driveway into the roadway where he was immediately hit by a 2003 Ford heading south on the road. The vehicle was driven by Michael L. Roach, 45, of Bean Station. Roach and a passenger were uninjured.
The report stated that no citations were issued and there are no criminal charges.
Tests have been ordered on both Roach and Collins to check for the presence of drugs and alcohol.
