Washougal, WA : Winlock Man Dies After Head-On Collision Near Washougal on May 9th 2014

A 27-year-old man died in crash involving three vehicles on Highway 14 in Washougal Friday morning.

The crash, involving a pickup truck, a U-Haul van and a semi truck, happened around 9 a.m. at Highway 14 at milepost 22, said Washington State Police Trooper Will Finn.

Joseph Sparks, 27, of Winlock, Wash. was driving a 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck westbound when the truck crossed the center line, hitting the other two vehicles.

Sparks died in the crash. The other drivers were not injured.

Officials said no drugs or alcohol were involved.

Troopers were still investigating the cause of the crash Friday afternoon.
