ST. LOUIS, MO : 1 dead after crash on I-270 between Dougherty Ferry and Manchester on Saturday, 24th February 2024

One person is dead after a crash around 1 p.m. Saturday on northbound Interstate 270 between Dougherty Ferry Road and Manchester Road.

Troopers identified the victim as Guy R. Porter, 65, of Chesterfield, Missouri.

Troopers said Porter was driving in lane four and attempted to merge into lane three when he hit the front end of a tractor-trailer in that lane. The vehicle Porter was driving hit the median and then overturned.

Porter was pronounced dead at the hospital.
