Poteau, OK : Muse man dies in car accident in LeFlore County early Thursday morning, April 21, 2016

A Muse, Okla., man died in a car accident in LeFlore County early Thursday morning, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

At about 4:10 a.m. Thursday, Bobby G. Adams, 62, was driving west on Oklahoma 63, two-tenths of a mile west of Muse, when his vehicle went left of center and collided head-on with another vehicle that was eastbound. Adams was pinned in his vehicle for nearly 90 minutes before being freed by the Talihina Fire Department, according to OHP. He died at the scene as a result of massive injuries. The accident is under investigation.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 34-year-old Muse woman, was transported to Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith and is currently listed in stable condition, according to the report.

Neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, the report states.
