LAUREL COUNTY, KY : 24-year-old killed, several injured after I-75 crash on Friday, 20th October 2023

A man died and several other people were injured after a crash on Interstate 75 in Laurel County, Kentucky early Friday morning.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened roughly 8 miles south of London on the southbound side of the interstate around 1:45 a.m.

Deputies said it appeared a Ford SUV driving in the far left passing lane hydroplaned during heavy rainfall overnight. The SUV lost control, hit the concrete median divider and continued sliding before causing a crash with a Subaru that was also in the passing lane.
