Anniston, AL : Two teenage sisters die in Heflin car crash on Friday September 09 2016

Two teenagers were killed in a single-vehicle crash in Heflin on Friday afternoon, according to authorities.

Cleburne County Coroner Tracy Lambert on Saturday confirmed that the car containing Haley Steadham, 15, and Britany Nicole Steadham, 17, left the road and struck a tree off River Road in Heflin.

Lambert said Britany, who was the driver, died on the scene, and that Haley was airlifted to Grady Hospital.
