CASSVILLE, WI : 17-year-old dies in tractor accident in Wisconsin on Friday, 16th August 2024

A 17-year-old has died in a tractor accident that happened in Wisconsin.

On Friday, August 16 around 3:24 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff's Office had received a call in regards to a tractor accident at the 8600 block of Irish Ridge Road in Cassville, Wisconsin.

When crews arrived on scene they found 17-year-old Race Landon had been operating a Ford 8N tractor and it had appeared that he was trying to pull a tree that had fallen into the driveway using a chain that was connected to both the tree and the tractor. While attempting to do so, the front end of the tractor came up and ended up on top of Landon causing fatal injuries.
