Oelrichs, S.D : One man killed in accident on Highway 385 near the Nebraska border on Monday morning, July 14, 2014

A 41-year-old Oelrichs man died Monday morning in a crash on Highway 385 near the Nebraska border.

Billy Eisenbraun was driving his pickup around 6:25 a.m. through a construction zone when he hit a cone, crossed over and slammed into construction equipment. He was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene, according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

Memorial services are planned for 10 a.m. Thursday at Prairie View United Methodist Church in Smithwick.
