FLASHER, ND : A one-vehicle accident on state Highway 31 on Friday, August 18, 2017
A man was killed late Friday night in a one-vehicle accident on state Highway 31 about 35 miles south of Flasher.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Blake Huber, 24, of Macintosh, S.D., was driving his Chevrolet Cruze north on state Highway 31 when he struck a black angus bull in the roadway. Huber’s vehicle then struck a bridge over the Cannonball River before coming to rest on the bridge. Huber died on the scene, according to the Highway Patrol.
Road and weather conditions were clear and Huber was not wearing a seatbelt. The accident remains under investigation.
