One person died and another person was injured in a crash on Route 3 in Chelmsford Tuesday night, police said.
State police in a statement said the crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. Troopers responded alongside local police officers and found one person in the roadway with serious injuries.
State police said the person in the roadway was pronounced dead. One other person suffered minor injuries.
Police did not share additional information about the crash but said the incident remained under investigation.
