Keene, N.H : Pedestrian struck in Keene on Thursday night, October 30, 2014

A Vermont man was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon with head injuries after he was hit by a car on Main Street in Keene Thursday night, Keene police said. Jacob Kilburn, 21, of Putney was walking in a crosswalk by Appian Way near the Keene State College campus when he was struck by a 1996 Buick LeSabre driven by Christina Goodnow, 24, of Spofford, police said. Goodnow was driving north on Main Street, police said. The accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Kilburn, who is listed as a Keene State student, was first taken to Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene and later moved to the hospital in Lebanon, police said.
