SCIO, NY : Driver charged with DWI after accident in Scio on Sunday, March 12th 2017
A 28-year-old Bolivar man was charged with driving while intoxicated for allegedly causing an accident on County Road 31 near Gordon Brook Road in Scio township Sunday, according to State Police.
Joel H. Grabow, was charged after he was identified as the driver who caused the crash, failed field sobriety tests and then registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.16 percent, twice the state's legal limit. Troopers did not provide any details of the accident.
Grabow was released on appearance tickets for a Scio Town Court session on March 21, according to officials.
