Flint, MI : Two people injured in crash involving a Flint Community Schools bus and car on Tuesday, February 16, 2016
Two people were injured after an early morning crash involving a Flint Community Schools bus and a car Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Police were called to the intersection of Davison Road and Iowa Avenue in Flint at 6:54 a.m. for reports of a crash involving a school bus. Several children were on the bus at the time, but none reported any injuries, police said.
The bus driver was taken to the hospital for unknown injuries and the driver of the car sustained minor injuries, police said.
Officers were still investigating exactly how the crash happened, but they did say the bus was headed southbound on Iowa and the car was headed westbound on Davison.
The front of the car was badly damaged and an area near the front wheel well on the driver's side of the bus had some damage.
Information on what school the bus was headed to was not immediately available.
