Wichita, KS : I-235 reopens after fatal motorcycle crash on Friday, 28th July 2023

One person died in a crash involving a motorcycle early Friday morning.

A news release from the Wichita Police Department says the crash happened on northbound Interstate 235 near 13th Street around 3:25 a.m. Officers arrived and found Daniel Hayes, 29, of Wichita, laying on the ground while a citizen was attempting lifesaving measures.

EMS arrived on the scene and Hayes was pronounced dead.
