Woman killed in motorcycle crash in California
A woman who was killed when her motorcycle slipped on a wet street in Temecula and crashed has been identified.Janet Klone, a 59-year-old resident of Alberta, Canada, was riding on the back of a 214 Harley Davidson motorcycle with her fiancé Charles Arnstin driving when he lost control on the rain-slicked road, according to sheriff’s Sgt. John Magnan.The couple crashed at 12:01 p.m. on Rainbow Canyon Road about half a mile from Pechanga Parkway. Arnstin was rushed to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar with injuries to his arms and legs, and Klone was taken to Temecula Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m., according to sheriff’s officials and the coroner’s office.
