ADAMS TWP, PA : Driver entrapped after crash in Adams Township in the 1300 block of Mars Evans City Road on Sunday, 10th March 2019

A 35-year-old man, who was trapped in his car after it veered off Mars Evans City Road, was flown by medical helicopter Sunday night to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The driver, a Callery resident, was traveling north about 9:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of Mars Evans City Road when he appeared to lose control, Adams Township police said.

The car hit a guard rail, which spun it off the road, according to police. The vehicle then went airborne and struck a big tree on the driver's side with such force that the car ended up facing south, police said.
