Prattville, AL : Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger injured in a three vehicle crash on Highway 82 and Gin Shop Road on Monday morning, February 23, 2015

The Prattville Police Department is investigating a Monday morning vehicle accident that involved Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger.

Sedinger was taken by private vehicle to Prattville Baptist Hospital emergency room with minor injuries, said Police Chief Mark Thompson.

Sedinger was driving his department-issued vehicle when two other vehicles collided and then struck his vehicle, Thompson said. The accident occurred about 8 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 82 and Gin Shop Hill Road.

Sedinger was driving to work at the time of the accident.
