One injured in crash at 11th, Cook streets

A driver failed to yield while turning left Saturday night at 11th and Cook streets, causing a two-vehicle crash, according to a police report.

Orlando Griffin, 44, of Lynwood was driving west on Cook and said he had a green light but not a green arrow, according to the report.

Griffin turned in front of a vehicle driven by Brittany A. Jackson, 22, of the 2300 block of South Ninth Street.
Jackson was taken to Memorial Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

The accident occurred at 7:15 p.m. Saturday.
