Beatrice, NE : A crash in north Beatrice on April, Monday 17th 2017
A crash in north Beatrice Monday afternoon sent one man to a Lincoln hospital.
Rescue workers were dispatched to the crash at Sixth and Sargent streets at around 4 p.m.
A red Ford Ranger was traveling east on Sargent Street when it was struck by a northbound Mead Lumber GMC cargo truck on Sixth Street, according to rescue workers.
The impact caused the ranger to flip, and ended up in the northeast ditch of the intersection.
Beatrice Fire and Rescue worker Jake Carrel said the driver of the Ranger, whose identity wasn’t immediately available, was being transported to a Lincoln hospital.
“The patient is stable and will be transported to Bryan West,” Carrel said. “There’s significant damage on the passenger’s side of that Ranger that was T-boned.”
