MEMPHIS, TN : Bolivar Police capture dogs involved in early morning attack that killed a woman on Monday, 1st July 2024

Police in Bolivar, Tennessee, said two dangerous dogs have been captured after a deadly attack Monday morning.

Bolivar Police said they responded to a distress call about 1:30 a.m. July 1, 2024, in the area of Sycamore Street and Mitchell Street. They said they found a 61-year-old woman, identified as Theresa Rhodes, in the road with extensive injuries from a dog attack. She was taken to Bolivar General Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
