CHINA GROVE, NC : I-85 SB reopened after crash near China Grove on Saturday, 28th July 2018
China Grove, North Carolina
All lanes of Interstate 85 Southbound were closed near a China Grove exit due to a crash Saturday morning.
According to officials, the highway was reopened around 11:30 a.m.
According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the highway was originally expected to reopen around noon.
Motorists were told to take US-29 for ten miles to re-access I-85 south during the closure.
The lane closure had a high impact on traffic in the area.
