Nesquehoning, PA : Mother, daughter killed, 2 other kids injured in SUV crash on Route 93 in Carbon County on Saturday, JULY 23, 2016

Authorities say a mother and daughter were killed in the crash of a sport utility vehicle in eastern Pennsylvania that also injured two other children.
Emergency responders in Carbon County were called to the scene of the crash on Route 93 in Nesquehoning at about 4 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities said the SUV apparently tried to pass another vehicle, then veered back to the right and apparently blew a tire before hitting a tree.
Coroner Bob Miller said both victims died of head injuries. Their names weren’t immediately released.
Two children in the back seat of the SUV were flown to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions weren’t immediately available.
