Macon, GA : 74-year-old man killed in a two-vehicle crash in Crawford County on Friday afternoon, July 8, 2016

A 74-year-old man was killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on a country road in southeastern Crawford County.

Few details about the wreck have been released, but an official with the Georgia State Patrol told The Telegraph that the victim, Thomas Martellus Peters, was thrown from the vehicle he was riding in. Peters was pronounced dead at the Peach County hospital.

A pickup truck hauling a trailer was heading down Wesley Chapel Road about 1:45 p.m. when it collided with the vehicle Peters was in at the intersection of Walton Road, about four miles north of downtown Fort Valley.
