Kingsville , CO : Colorado woman killed in crash on wednesday ,July 15th 2015
A deadly crash in Kingsville claimed the life of a Colorado woman Wednesday, police say.
The Ontario Provincial Police were called to the scene of a two-car collision on Hwy. 3, just west of Essex County Road 31, late Wednesday afternoon.
Police say that an eastbound Saturn struck the shoulder of Highway 3 before striking a westbound Pontiac.
The Pontiac caught fire as a result of the crash, police say.
A passenger in the Saturn taken to hospital and pronounced dead.
On Thursday, police identified the deceased as 29-year-old Auzidje Bancouly of Brush, Colo.
The Saturn's driver, Florent Bancouly, 34, also of Brush, Colo., was taken to a hospital in Windsor, before being transferred to a hospital in Detroit. Police say he remains in critical condition as of Thursday.
Police identified the Pontiac driver as 45-year-old Nahim Ibrahim of Lakeshore. He suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
