Texarkana, TX : Foreman teen dies in car wreck on Wednesday, 16th May 2018

Amanii Beard, 18, of Foreman was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier toward Oscar Hamilton Elementary School about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to graduation ceremony practice.

She lost control of the car, causing it to fatally crash into a tree and seriously injuring two passengers, Alyssa Jones, 18, of Foreman and a 17-year-old classmate.

They were traveling on a gravel road west of the elementary school.

Amanii, Alyssa and the 17-year-old started their school days in kindergarten at the Oscar Hamilton school.

In two days, they would be Foreman High School graduates.

Another passenger was 17 years old, but officials could not release her name because of her age. She was also going to be a Foreman graduate Friday.
