TAMPA, FL : Howard Frankland Bridge crash closes lanes causes traffic delays on Sunday, 3rd March 2024

A speeding driver likely caused a multi-car crash Sunday morning in the northbound lanes of the Howard Frankland Bridge that caused an hour-long traffic backup.

It happened around 10:45 a.m. at the hump heading toward Tampa from Pinellas County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Law enforcement reopened the lanes around 11:30 a.m.
