Newton County, GA : Infant injured in Interstate 49 accident on Thursday, 30th May 2019

A Joplin infant was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:49 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 49, a quarter-mile north of Neosho in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Maisie K. Reynolds was taken to Mercy Hospital Joplin with minor injuries.

The infant was a passenger in a southbound car driven by Kelli M. Newberry, 25, of Joplin, that ran off the road and hit a guardrail when Newberry's car and a southbound pickup truck driven by Randall T. Hunter, 41, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, sideswiped each other, the patrol said.
