Abilene, TX : Coleman teen killed in two-vehicle accident on Wednesday

A Coleman teen was killed in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 67 in the city limits of Valera in Coleman County, a Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman said.
Devon Aaron Jeter, 15, of Coleman, was transported to Coleman County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to DPS Trooper Frederick Biddle.
The accident happened Wednesday at 5:34 p.m.
A 2015 Toyota Tundra, driven by Don Orel Seals, 43, of San Angelo, was traveling west on U.S. Highway 67. A 2004 Yamaha motorcycle, driven by Devon Aaron Jeter, male, 15, of Coleman, was traveling south on 1st Street towards the 1st Street and U.S. 67 intersection.
According to the DPS, the motorcycle failed to yield right of way as it entered the intersection and was struck by the Tundra.
Seals and a passenger, John Phillip Henry, 54, of San Angelo, were treated and released at the scene. Both men were wearing seatbelts.
The crash is under investigation, according to the DPS. The investigating officer is Trooper Tyler Moses of Coleman's DPS.
