One person died Monday morning after leading Collier County deputies on a high-speed chase and crashing into a wooded area near Immokalee.
The car caught fire and exploded. The driver, who has not been identified, died at the scene.
Shortly after 7 a.m. Monday, deputies tried to serve a violation of state probation warrant on Adam Zelske, 22, of Naples. Someone at the house pointed deputies toward a fleeing car and told deputies Zelske was the driver. Deputies chased the car for a short distance and stopped.
