Riverton, WY : David H. Williams, 24, dies in single-vehicle crash on Wyoming Highway 789 north of Riverton on Saturday, January 3, 2015

David H. Williams, 24, of Riverton, died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday on Wyoming Highway 789 north of the city.
Wyoming Highway Patrol reports state Williams was driving a 2013 Ford Fusion south on Wyoming Highway 789 at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the car on a left hand curve and crashed into a guardrail. The car left the highway after striking the guardrail.
Williams was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle, the report stated. He sustained fatal injuries at the scene.
Alcohol use and speed are being investigated as contributing factors in the crash, according to reports. The exact time of the incident is unknown.
