HARTLAND, VT : 36-year-old woman is dead following a crash on Interstate 91 in Hartland on Thursday, 28th June 2018

Vermont State Police say a 36-year-old woman is dead following a crash on Interstate 91 in Hartland.

The northbound lane of the interstate was closed after the crash, reported about 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police say a southbound truck crossed the median and collided head-on with a car. The driver of the car, Laura McNaughton of Perkinsville, Vermont, was declared dead at the scene of the crash.

McNaughton’s 8-year-old child, Isaac McNaughton, suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck and two children in that vehicle were also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
