Rochester, N.H : Woman cited after Jeep crashes into back of bus Friday evening, February 6, 2015
A Strafford woman was issued a citation after her vehicle crashed into the back of a school bus Friday evening.
At 9:17 p.m., Rochester police, fire and Frisbie EMS responded to Columbus Ave., in front of the Stop and Go Deli for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a 2011 Jeep Liberty and a school bus registered out of Massachusetts, according to a statement released by the Rochester Police Department Saturday.
The Jeep, driven by Victoria Kerivan, 25, of 58 Northwood Road in Strafford, was traveling south on Columbus Ave., when it struck the rear of the bus, causing heavy front end damage to the Jeep, according to police.
There were no injuries reported to the 32 adult passengers on the bus.
Kerivan, along with an adult passenger and two toddlers, were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester for minor injuries. The Jeep was towed from the scene.
Kerivan was issued a summons for following too closely.
