Guilford, VT : 48-year-old Joseph Earle died in a crash on Old Stage Road in Guilford on Thursday morning, October 13, 2016

A Vermont man died in a crash Thursday morning.

It happened on Old Stage Road in Guilford just before noon Thursday.

Police say 48-year-old Joseph Earle's pickup left the road on a curve and hit a big tree. Earle was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the two dogs in his vehicle had to be euthanized.
