Lemon Grove, CA: 2 hurt in head-on crash in Lemon Grove on Sunday, August 2nd 2015

Two people were transported to the hospital with major injuries and a state Route 94 off-ramp was shut down Sunday evening after a head-on collision.Around 6 p.m. a silver sedan and Jeep Cherokee collided head-on near the eastbound SR-94 on-ramp at Massachusetts Avenue, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.Additionally, the CHP reported someone was arrested at the scene of the accident. It was not immediately known what the person was arrested for.The eastbound Massachusetts Avenue off-ramp was closed while the crash was investigated.Two people with major injuries and one with minor injuries were transported to hospitals, a Heartland Fire dispatcher said.
