Port Angeles, WA : Two trucks collide head-on in icy Sequim wreck on Wendesday morning, December 28, 2016

Officials at Clallam Fire District No. 3 reported that three people were transported to Olympic Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries following a wreck this morning.

Their names were not released and their statuses were not available.

Assistant Chief Tony Hudson reported that two pickup trucks were involved in the head-on wreck at Kitchen-Dick Road and Old Olympic Highway at 7:35 a.m.

One of the trucks ended up off the road in a ditch and the second blocked both lanes on Kitchen-Dick Road.

Hudson did not comment about the cause of the wreck but noted that the area was “very icy.”

Responding companies requested that Clallam County lay down sand in the area to improve traction.

By 9:15 a.m., the wreck was reported clear of the scene.
