Orlando, FL : 21-year-old Titusville driver involved in a vehicle accident on Friday night, May 6, 2016

A 21-year-old Titusville driver was involved in a vehicle accident that left an Orlando man dead at the scene Friday night in Orlando.

Peter Perez, 49, died after the Florida Highway Patrol reported that his vehicle, traveling westbound on Colonial Drive, turned into the direct path of Yanelys Ortiz’s vehicle, which was eastbound. Ortiz suffered minor injures.

A passenger in that car, Eric Cardona, also suffered minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
