Conroe, TX : High-speed motorcycle crash in Conroe ends in fatality on February, Monday 5th 2018

A motorcyclist driving a stolen vehicle died early Monday after a high-speed crash north of Conroe.

Police later determined that the motorcycle was stolen from Harris County and that the driver was on parole with a warrant for his arrest, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

Oak Ridge North police spotted a motorcycle after midnight Sunday going 130 mph on Interstate 45 near the Woodlands, but it went out of sight. A Department of Public Safety unit saw the bike and went after it in a pursuit.

The driver kept speeding at close to 130 mph. He exited at South Highway 105, re-entered the freeway and exited again. As he exited FM 3083 north of Conroe, the driver hit a curb after failing to follow a curve.
