MARION, IL : 18 year old facing charge after crash on I-57 on Tuesday, 16th January 2024

Illinois State Police report five crashes involving ISP squad cars over the extended Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend. One of those crashes happened in Marion and resulted in charges filed.

The driver of a Mitsubishi, 18-year-old Liani I. Anino of Greenfield, Indiana was charged with the Move Over Law – failure to yield to stationary emergency vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
