LAS VEGAS, NV : Woman killed crossing street in south Las Vegas valley on Wednesday, 3rd January 2024

A woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle in the south Las Vegas valley Wednesday evening during a torrential downpour of rain.

Las Vegas Metropolitan police responded to St. Rose Parkway west of Maryland Parkway around 5:40 p.m. Police said the woman was attempting to cross St. Rose outside of a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a Jeep Cherokee.
