MARION, OH : Alcohol suspected factor in crash that injured 1 on Saturday, 16th December 2023

One person is injured following a crash in Marion County early Saturday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. on state Route 309 near Pleasant Hill Road in Marion.

Troopers said a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound on Route 309 when the driver failed to negotiate a curve just west of Pleasant Hill Road. The driver then drove off the right side of the roadway, hitting a guardrail.
