Tampa, FL : Gibsonton man struck and killed by pickup on U.S. 41 in Tampa on Friday night, August 29, 2014

A Gibsonton man walking on the outside edge of U.S. 41 was struck and killed by a pickup truck Friday night, authorities said. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, James Warfle, 43, was walking northward south of 36th Avenue S near Gibsonton around 10:24 p.m. A Ford 150 driven by 50-year-old Robert Barnhardt of Spring Hill was traveling north in the center lane and had changed just lanes before hitting Warfle.
