Sagamore Hills Township, OH : One person injured in a motorcycle crash in Summit County on Sunday afternoon, Oct 4, 2015

Deputies are investigating a motorcycle crash that left one person injured Sunday afternoon.

Around 2:30 p.m., a 2006 Ford F150 was traveling north on Chaffee Road when the driver made a left turn in front of a southbound 2005 Yahmaha motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 53-year-old man, struck the front of the truck.

He was flown to MetroHealth Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the truck, a 49-year-old man, was not injured.

Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.

The road was closed for approximately three hours.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
